Registered Nurse

We are currently hiring Passionate Nurses at The Arc of San Diego!. You will provide care to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own home. The Arc of San Diego operates nine (9) ICF-DD-H residential facilities across San Diego believe in putting people first and creating meaningful days for our clients and each other. You will be responsible for 4 residential homes throughout San Diego : San DiegoPay: The pay for this position is $47-$: Sat- Wed 7a-3:30pWho you are:Comfortable providing full care coordinationA strong client advocateHave active observation skillsA critical thinkerObserve the rights and best interest of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilitiesA typical day will include:Physical and nutrition assessmentsDeveloping individual health care plansProviding case management supportOversight for clients specialty appointmentsPharmacy and medication reviewPsychiatrist and mental health reviewScheduling and attending coordinated client service planning meetingsWhat youll need to be successful:CA license as Registered Nurse6 months hands on experience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilitiesValid CA Drivers License with clean driving recordWed love it if you:Have experience using electronic case management systems (Therap)Previously provided in-home care in individual or group settingExperience working with people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
