Job Summary
Job Title: Manager Space Data and Analytics
Location: Palo Alto CA 94304
Duration: 3 Months temp role
- We are seeking a temporary Manager Space Data and Analytics who will oversee and manage space data analytics and reporting. The Manager Space Data and Analytics will serve as the primary contact and subject matter expert on all the department space and occupancy information. This position may participate in strategic space planning and presents clients space analyses and recommendations to various senior leadership space and planning committees. This position is a hybrid position.
- Develop and design methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources using a variety of qualitative and quantitative techniques. Proactively suggest areas of investigations.
- Analyze space data and determine if space is correctly classified. Make recommendations to clients departments and use judgement to provide corrective action steps as appropriate.
- Create validation reports and scripts to audit iSpace data correctness and completeness.
- Investigate space data issues to determine the root cause initiate corrective action.
- Provide oversight to OFPM Space Administrator to collaborate with clients Space Coordinators to make the appropriate corrections to their department data as necessary.
- Identify and resolve space coding variances and discrepancies between client and Hospital space data.
- Provide subject matter expertise for ad-hoc projects and inquiries (e.g. requests for statistical analyses or surveys).
- Serve as subject matter expert for all the department space data classification coding and reporting requests. Publish and communicate department space guidelines on classifications and coding.
- Collaborate with OFPM functional teams (i.e. Planning Project Management and Transition Strategies). Validate and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Lead annual Space Data Certification process across the department.
- Partner and collaborate with client to establish guidelines schedule and deliverables for the department.
- Assist with space certification training for department DFA and space coordinator community.
- Ensure that clients fiscal space data certification requirements are completed for the department.
- Collaborate with technical staff project teams or vendors to develop standardizing processes and systemize routine reports dashboards and metrics.
- Partner with LBRE and OFPM Tech Services to identify and implement ways our space data systems can be utilized to improve space information and utilization.
- Serve as primary contact and subject matter expert on all the department space and occupancy information. Serve as subject matter expert for all the department space data classification coding and reporting requests.
- Implement a consistent and continuous process across the department to input and maintain accurate and complete space data in our clients space data systems.
- Manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized flexible and rigorous attention to detail. Effectively manage multiple requests from internal and external customers.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with space management and/or space planning required.
- Able to develop insightful business intelligence reports (KPIs metrics ad hoc queries) and/or dashboards.
- Able to examine data problem areas find process redundancies and automate or standardize the data collection process.
- Must have experience in space database management (e.g. Archibus)
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint etc.) skills
- Experience in AutoCAD Excel Visual Basic PLSQL Oracle Database OBIEE Tableau.
- Have a broad understanding of system integration database structures and table field mappings.
