Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at VigorCare Pediatric Services. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting organizing and analyzing healthcare data to help improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and compile healthcare data from various sources including electronic health records surveys and other databases
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends patterns and insights that can inform decision-making and improve patient care
- Develop and maintain data models dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and measure the effectiveness of treatments and interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to understand data needs and develop solutions to address them
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues and work to resolve them in a timely manner
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in data analysis and healthcare technology
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in data science statistics or a related field
- 2 years of experience in data analysis preferably in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in SQL Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with electronic health records and healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7 FHIR)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
