Job Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist at Aculabs is responsible for the hands-on maintenance repair upkeep and appearance of company buildings grounds parking areas and general facilities. This position is intended for an experienced self-sufficient individual who can independently manage a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks without the need to outsource routine facility work.

Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair duties across company facilities
- Complete routine carpentry painting plumbing electrical HVAC and mechanical repairs
- Maintain interior and exterior property appearance including landscaping and seasonal upkeep
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns
- Assemble install move and repair office furniture and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility-related issues
- Coordinate specialized repairs and vendor services when needed
- Assist with weather-related preparation and cleanup including snow and storm response
- Provide maintenance support for multiple office locations as needed
- Respond to after-hours facility emergencies alarms and urgent maintenance matters
- Maintain organized workspaces tools and maintenance equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Perform additional facility-related duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
- Strong hands-on maintenance and repair abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Practical knowledge of general building maintenance and repair techniques.
- Basic understanding of plumbing electricalHVAC painting carpentry and mechanical systems.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools power tools ladders and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to facility issues efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending kneeling climbing and physical labor.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid drivers license.
Education/ Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Trade school vocational training maintenance certifications or related hands-on experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general maintenance facilities maintenance building repair construction or related field preferred.
- Experience with carpentry painting light plumbing light electrical work and facility maintenance strongly preferred.
- Basic computer and communication skills required.
