NETWORK TECHNICIAN

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Network Technician to install maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring stable and secure connectivity across the organisation supporting both on-site and remote users.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with networking hardware strong troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of network protocols and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain network hardware (routers switches firewalls access points)
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues
• Assist in network upgrades expansions and infrastructure projects
• Configure and manage LAN/WAN VPNs and wireless networks
• Maintain network documentation diagrams and inventory
• Support network security measures including firewalls and access controls
• Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration and deployment
• Provide technical support to users related to network issues

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Networking Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 24 years of experience in network support or administration
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP VLANs)
• Experience with network devices (Cisco Juniper Ubiquiti etc.)
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostics
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
