Job Summary
A LubeTechnician performs vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities
Perform minor maintenance e.g. changing engine oil and filters
Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires brakes and all fluid levels
Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the Service Advisor liaison
Complete multipoint inspection worksheet
Maintain value quality and integrity
General Company Related Duties and Responsibilities
Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards
Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers
Qualifications
Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
Must be able to lift items up to 50-75 lbs.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions procedure manuals and computers.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Preferred working knowledge of car parts and the tools used for cars.
Current valid drivers license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Working Conditions
The employee will work indoors and outdoors in an auto shop environment.
