Linen Sort Technician

Assignment Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday Saturday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (Frequent Overtime Required; Shifts May Extend Until 5:00 PM)
Contract Length: 26 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Sort soiled linens for healthcare facilities and contracted clients according to established production standards.
• Assist with laundry production operations to ensure adequate linen supply for patient care and facility needs.
• Maintain daily productivity and production goals.
• Lift push pull and move linen carts bags and materials throughout the workday.
• Follow workplace safety health and operational procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
• Support laundry production and distribution functions as assigned.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Comply with attendance scheduling overtime and departmental policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8th Grade Education required.
• Ability to read and write required.
• Minimum 6 months of recent experience in warehouse manufacturing production laundry services housekeeping environmental services (EVS) distribution or other physically demanding environments preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to commit to the full 26-week assignment.
