Job Summary
We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Cook and dishwasher/prep position at Currie Municipal Golf Course. This is full time job Perfect for those who are looking for a fast paced culinary position. You will work closely with our Executive Chef to develop and hone your skills. General Purpose:
Prepares various food products for restaurant and banquet operations guest consumption and guest enjoyment.
Essential Duties:
- Assists in the food preparation for the assigned station including; pantry broiler/grill or sauté.
- Prepares and cooks ordered items during restaurant service according to Chefs specifications.
- Inspects all stations in Kitchen at the end of each shift to make sure they are all broken down and cleaned to sanitation standards.
- Ensures proper food storage methods labeling rotation and temperature controls for all food items.
- Ensures proper portion control and proper plating presentations.
Non-Essential Functions: - Other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Average knowledge of industrial equipment including range ovens slicer deep fryer and grill. 2-3 years line experience a must. Culinary degree preferred.
Details: Full-Time hourly. Must be available weekdays weekends and holidays. Includes full benefit package vac/sick/hol 401kmatch.
