About the role
codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Lead Instructor in the San Diego area for the upcoming school year starting August 2026.
As a Lead Instructor you will:
- Work with site staff at our partner schools in the area
- Lead STEAM lessons for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
- Teach students in grades K-8th
- Demonstrated experience in music production audio engineering or music theory with proficiency in standard Digital Audio Workstations including GarageBand Logic Pro Tools or comparable
This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates for this position must possess the following qualifications:
- Available to start training immediately (paid) and to start instructing immediately
- Availableto work from August2026and beyond
- Available Monday to Friday from 2pm - 345pm
- Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
- Exceptional communication skills
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
- Willing to go through our professional development training program
- A background in performing composing or mentoring youth in musical environments
