Landscape Architecture Pursuits Coordinator

SWA Los Angeles an internationally renowned landscape architecture planning and urban design firm with studio across the United States and internationally. Our Los Angeles studio works at the intersection of public space climate resilience ecological restoration mobility and community centered designpartnering with cities institutions developers and public agencies to create landscapes that are both beautiful and enduring.

We are seeking a thoughtful highly organized Landscape Architecture Pursuits Coordinator to support the Los Angeles studios proposal efforts and communications. This role will primarily coordinate responses to private-sector Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) while also supporting the studios awards publications and external communications.

Working closely with the studio leadership the Pursuits & Proposal Manager and SWAs firmwide Marketing and Communications team the Landscape Architectural Pursuits Coordinator will help elevate the studios profile through responding to RFQs publications awards conferences media outreach digital communications and strategic storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage private-sector RFQ submissions from initial opportunity through final submission including assembling qualifications packages coordinating consultant teams tracking deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Support media inquiries and coordinate with SWAs public relations consultant
• Support proposal development through writing editing graphics coordination and preparation of interview materials.
• Coordinate with subconsultants to collect qualifications resumes fee information and supporting materials for pursuit submissions.
• Maintain project descriptions resumes biographies photography and presentation materials

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture Architecture Urban Planning Environmental Design Design or a related field.
• 2-5 years of professional experience within Architecture Engineering Construction (AEC) planning or design industry.
• Experience coordinating RFQs RFPs or proposal submissions within an AEC environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent written editorial and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail (including spelling and grammar).
• Strong graphic communication skills with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator).
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Landscape Architecture Architecture Planning Engineering or Urban Design firms.
• Experience preparing award submissions conference proposals publications or media materials.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing databases.
• Interest in climate resilience public space parks infrastructure urban design and/or environmental planning.
• Experience coordinating photography and visual storytelling.
• Local candidates preferred.

Compensation:

$80K-$90K / annual salary.
