EHS Coordinator

Are you an EHS professional driven to build safer more sustainable workplaces As an EHS Coordinator at Vestcom (an Avery Dennison company) you will play a key role in driving environmental compliance occupational health and safety programs across our U.S. manufacturing facilities. Working autonomously with limited supervision you will conduct hazard assessments lead root-cause incident investigations and foster a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. This position offers direct career advancement across both Vestcom and the global Avery Dennison enterprise.

Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

• Safety Culture & Compliance: Implement EHS systems conduct facility audits and ensure daily adherence to OSHA EPA and internal EHS standards.

• Hazard Assessment & Incident Prevention: Facilitate risk assessments self-inspections and root-cause analyses to address deficiencies and track corrective actions.

• Training & Advisory: Develop and deliver engaging site training while serving as a trusted EHS advisor to facility leadership and staff.

• Metrics & Reporting: Monitor leading and lagging performance indicators track EHS metrics and notify leadership or regulatory agencies of incidents as required.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay current on regulatory laws and partner with multi-site teams to support corporate EHS and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Experience: 13 years of EHS occupational safety or environmental compliance experience ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.

• Knowledge: Foundational understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations hazard assessments and waste management practices.

• Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and educate team members across all levels of the organization.

• Competencies: Strong problem-solving mindset (Curiosity) high personal accountability (Deliver Results) and a collaborative approach (Team Before Self).

• Requirements: Proficiency with Google Workspace or office tools; ability to travel up to 10%.

• This position will sit near one of Vestcoms manufacturing sites.
