University Pathologists a Sonic Healthcare USA anatomic pathology practice is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations and strategic growth of our laboratory and pathology services. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence managing multiple practice locations supporting physician leadership and ensuring financial and regulatory compliance.
In this role you will:
Lead day-to-day operations across multiple laboratory and pathology practice locations.
Develop and implement operational strategies that support growth efficiency and profitability.
Manage budgets monitor expenses and oversee financial performance.
Supervise and support managers technical staff and operational teams.
Partner with physician leaders and senior management to achieve business objectives.
Evaluate staffing needs optimize workforce planning and support employee development.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations accreditation standards and company policies.
Monitor productivity quality assurance programs and operational performance metrics.
Collaborate with corporate departments including Human Resources Billing IT and Sales to resolve operational challenges and support business initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients healthcare organizations and business partners.
Support growth initiatives identify new business opportunities and enhance market presence.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in healthcare administration laboratory operations or a related healthcare environment.
Proven experience managing budgets staff and operational performance.
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements preferred.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: $95000 - $125000 annually commensurate with experience.
