Job Summary
Responsibilities include:
Providing daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets including feeding watering walking and monitoring comfort and well-being
Administering medications as directed by the veterinary team
Bathing and brushing pets as needed
Assisting with patient check-in and check-out procedures
Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating observations to the veterinary team
Cleaning and disinfecting kennels runs cages and treatment areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Assisting veterinarians technicians and veterinary assistants with patient handling and restraint
Supporting diagnostic and treatment procedures including sample collection radiographs and laboratory work when appropriate
Maintaining a clean organized and welcoming hospital environment
Providing compassionate care and attention to every patient throughout their stay
What Were Looking For
A genuine passion for animal care and welfare
Dependable hardworking and team-oriented attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable handling dogs cats and exotic pets of varying sizes and temperaments
Previous animal care kennel boarding or veterinary experience is a plus but were happy to train the right person
