Job Summary

Location: This role is a Field Engineer position with occasional support desk responsibilities as needed. Candidates must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and be available to provide onsite support to local clients throughout the region (SF/East Bay/North Bay/South Bay areas) including periodic travel to client locations that may require extended drive times.

Purpose--What Youll Do


Youll be both the frontline hero and trusted guide for our clients helping them succeed through technology that simply works.

Your days will include:
  • Heading onsite for hands-on installations configurations and troubleshooting as needed. This includes installing wired and wireless networking equipment setting up workstations installing and updating software troubleshooting issues and more.
  • Solving complex challenges with patience curiosity and a service-first mindset
  • Collaborating closely with teammates to create consistently excellent client experiences
  • Continuously learning new technologies and sharpening your craft
  • Providing remote IT support across a variety of systems and platforms

Qualifications


Required:
  • Must have 3 years minimum IT Help Desk or Field/ Onsite Engineer experience
  • Previous MSP experience Required
  • Ability to configure deploy and support network infrastructure equipment including firewalls switches and wireless networking solutions.
  • Ability to support cloud-based infrastructure platforms including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
  • Ability to support and maintain on-premises Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange environments.
  • Reliable Transportation and Current Drivers license
  • Strong aptitude for Customer Service
  • Able and willing to collaborate as part of a team
  • Ability to self-schedule and project plan for small engagements
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent analytical verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
  • Respond to emergency situations effectively maintaining poise and focus
Preferred:
  • Certifications: CompTIA (A Network Security) Microsoft Associate/Expert VMware Apple Citrix
  • Bachelors degree (in a related field) or equivalent experience
