Inspector A

The Inspector A ensures quality of finished goods. This position checks/measures all critical specifications for accuracy and visually inspects for foundry defects and machining errors.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for general knowledge of any / all job-related machinery equipment and work instructions.
• Inspect finished goods to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met
• Pull parts needing balancing and send to balance machines
• Complete quality layout for each setup and each part per day
• Check pilot and bore concentricity hardness hole location and size
• Prepare accurate daily inspection reports
• Operate forklift to move finished goods
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhere to all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications

• Mechanical skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to read micrometer blueprints and gauges

Experience

• 0-1 year
• Manufacturing CNC and blueprint reading experience preferred
