Quality Control Inspector
Job Summary
Duties/Responsibilities.
Complete inspection of incoming materials per engineering drawings specifications and Quality Inspection Plans.
Complete and review First Article Inspections (FAI).
Work closely with other teams such as Assembly Fabrication Warehouse and Engineering.
Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans.
Perform manufacturing in-process and final inspections and testing per inspection plans as required.
Support new product development activities as needed.
Proposing improvements to the production process
Any other duty as assigned.
The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
Must be motivated and work with minimal supervision in a start-up fast-paced environment.
Computer skills include Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) email and other common programs.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Troubleshooting skills
Keen attention to detail
Computer and math skills
Ability to use measuring devices like gauges meters calipers and computers.
In-depth understanding of company standards
Teamwork and collaboration
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the education requirement. Minimum of four (4) years of Inspection experience preferably in assembly processes. Minimum of two (2) years experience handling basic electronic devices or electromechanical assemblies and debugging failures. Must be able to communicate clearly in English including the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos; the ability to write simple correspondence; the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions percentages well as the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
