High school diploma
Hold current WVBus Driver Certification
At least 2yearsHead Start experience
Supervisory experience
Ability to workwell with others
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees the operational administrative and compliance aspects of three counties.
Operational Management: Supportsdriversdevelopment of routes;ensures route efficiency andeffectiveness;overseesschedules and field trips.
Supervision & Training:Supervise and evaluate county leaddriversperformance; recruitwhenvacancies occur; ensureappropriate evaluationsare completed on drivers and busaides;collaborate/conduct training and manage attendance.Track training for each drivertoensuretraining hrs. are met for renewal of certification.Maintain confidentiality.
Compliance & Safety:Assure daily transportation safety compliancewith Federal PerformanceStandards State transportationchild careregulations and Policy 2525; review andsubmitinrequiredtime frameany accident paperwork.
Communication & Support:Serve as contactbetween managementdriversand parentsin owncounty and support leads inother twocounties.
Technology & Reporting: Manage datatimelyreceipt of monthly paperwork tomain officesupportvideo monitoring checks ofdriverscompliance and safety
Other duties as assigned

Adhere to Head Start Performance Standards childcare licensing EPIC and EPIC HeadStart/Pre-K/Early Head StartPolicies and Procedures and NAEYC Code of Ethics.
Participatein meetings trainings and continuingeducation programs asor suggested byHeadStart andsponsoringorganizations.
Prepare andsubmitwritten reports as.
Attend evening meetings and perform overnight travel as.
Comply withall WVDE requirements and WVDHHR regulations.
Agency approval of Criminal Investigation Bureau records.
