Job Summary

General Laborer

Position Details:

Duration: Temp to Perm

Hours: 7am to 3:30pm

Pay Rate - $19 - $20 per hour

What to Expect:

JobOverview:

GeneralLaborer to performmanual labor tasks andsupport operations in the shop.

Assist plastic and metal fabricators

Collect trash debris and other waste to keep shop clean and safe. Handle and transport materials.

Use power tools and machinery (e.g. forklifts) when needed. Follow supervisors instructions to perform manual labor task. Follow safety requirements.

Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions to supervisor. Industrial painting ability to wear respirator.

Sand blasting.

Minor maintenance.

Clean company vehicles.

Grounds keeping and snow removal.

Qualifications for Success:

General Laborer Requirements:

Ability to read a tape measure.

Basic math skills.

Ability to travel is a plus

Ability to work in confined spaces.

Be on your feet for long periods of time.

Must wear steel toe boots

Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus. May require heavy lifting at times.

High school education

Valid NYS drivers license required
