Full-time Work Control Coordinator:
Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking a highly organized and service-oriented full-time Work Control Coordinator to support daily Facilities operations. This role serves as the central point of contact for all maintenance and service requests ensuring work is efficiently coordinated from intake through completion.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented responsive can problem solve in real-time and able to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent customer service to faculty staff and vendors. They will be eager to learn display a growth mindset and consistently display a positive approach.
The duties and responsibilities outlined below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform this job.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage incoming Facilities requests via phone email walk-ins and CMMS system
  • Review prioritize and dispatch work orders to technicians and vendors
  • Coordinate short-term rental operations lease administration and compliance with landlord-tenant laws and rental regulations ensuring accurate records and effective management of maintenance inspections and vendor services.
  • Ensure requests are complete accurate and properly documented
  • Monitor work progress and follow up on outstanding or delayed items
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding status timelines and expectations
  • Coordinate service response and scheduling in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting and data tracking
  • Support daily operations including inventory vendor coordination and administrative tasks

  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Strong organizational multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook)
Preferred:
  • 24 years of administrative experience
  • Experience in facilities maintenance or service operations environments
  • Familiarity with CMMS or work order systems
  • Property management experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish Preferred)
Compensation and Benefits:
The appointment will begin July 2026 and is a full-time position with full benefits. The compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with experience degree attainment and the national independent school and college markets.
