If you are a process-driven operations professional with a passion for execution discipline and operational flow we have an exciting opportunity for you! Based at our distribution center you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end operational flow shipment execution and process stability across inbound outbound inventory and customer-critical workflows. This role serves as a key operational coordination point ensuring alignment between planning warehouse operations customer priorities and shipment execution. You will help drive operational rhythm remove execution barriers improve throughput and support disciplined processes to reduce reactive firefighting and improve service performance. This position operates under the general guidance of the Customer Service Manager.
AS A FLOW OPERATIONS COORDINATOR YOU WILL:
- Support end-to-end operational flow across inbound outbound inventory and shipping activities
- Monitor daily execution performance and coordinate actions to resolve operational bottlenecks
- Support prioritization and escalation management for customer-critical past-due and at-risk orders
- Partner with Operations Planning Customer Service Materials and Transportation teams to align execution priorities
- Monitor shipment flow dock utilization and throughput performance
- Support standard work operational cadence and execution discipline initiatives across the site
- Assist with daily management routines including LDM Gemba EOS review and action follow-up processes
- Track operational KPIs including throughput RDSL backlog expedites and shipment execution performance
- Identify root causes for operational flow issues and support implementation of corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process flow execution consistency and operational efficiency
- Assist with peak readiness planning and execution activities
REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations Engineering Business or related field
- 3 years of experience in distribution warehouse operations manufacturing or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of warehouse flow shipping operations inventory control and order fulfillment processes
- Experience supporting operational escalations and coordinating cross-functional execution activities
- Strong problem-solving prioritization and analytical skills
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems (Oracle SAP JD Edwards Manhattan etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational reporting tools
- Experience with Sigma Power BI Tableau or similar analytics/reporting platforms
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
PREFERRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Experience in high-volume distribution or manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience improving operational flow throughput and shipment execution performance
- Experience supporting daily management systems and operational cadence processes
- Experience supporting peak season or high-volume operational environments
Schedule:
This role is on-site at the distribution center. Standard working hours are Monday Friday. As business needs dictate flexibility may be required including support outside of standard hours.
