Job Summary

The FIRST Tech Challenge Assistant Coach will be responsible for all aspects of their assigned FTC team. Specific tasks will include but are not limited to

Promoting FIRST Tech Challenge opportunities within the school district.
Supervising students at all team meetings.
Recruiting students for their team and keeping team roster records.
Helping to recruit mentors for their team.
Coordinating meeting times and locations with other FTC teams.
Coordinating equipment and material resources with other FTC teams.
Submitting parts and materials orders to the FTC Head Coach.
Arranging Team Sponsors through Grant Requests to fund the activities of their team.
Communicating with other FTC coaches the district STEM Facilitator and building Principal(s) about team events organization and resources.
