Professional Service Industries Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is a leading US based provider of construction assurance testing and inspection in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing geotechnical services environmental engineering industrial hygiene and specialty testing.

What are we looking for

The Environmental Project Manageris responsible for supporting the Environmental department in all services including Phase I/II ESAs asbestos surveys lead-based paint survey UST/LUST assessments site remediation soil/groundwater sampling and more. This person will complete fieldwork as well as work on technical reports and proposals. This position will travel up to 20% of the time depending on project load/location.

Shift/Schedule:Monday Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)

What youll do:

  • Perform environmental services including Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs)
  • Perform soil and groundwater sampling
  • Assist in assessment and remediation and field observation documentation.
  • Perform industrial hygiene services to include assisting with asbestos indoor air quality and lead surveys.
  • Ability to prepare technical proposals and reports
  • Ability to communicate with clients and regulators to keep projects moving and on schedule
  • Ability to self-manage and make decisions during all phases of a project
  • Ability to manage and control project budgets and build solid relationships with clients

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • BS in Environmental Science Engineering Geology or related field
  • 2 years of proven technical environmental consulting with Phase I ESAs and/or Asbestos Inspection experience
  • Current Valid Texas Asbestos License
  • Must be able to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions
  • Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to ones discipline
  • Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable driving record (required)
