500 Global is seeking an Education Operations Associate to support our VC training programs around the world with a specific focus on programs in the Bay Area. This is a highly organized relationship-driven role for someone passionate about venture capital and global startup ecosystems. The associate will be the face of 500 Globals Education Team to applicants participants and key stakeholders supporting the full lifecycle of in-person and online programs across planning execution and communications.
Essential Functions:
Support end-to-end execution of assigned programs from marketing and outreach through venue setup and stakeholder coordination.
Build and manage relationships with prospective participants providing outstanding customer service and converting inquiries into enrollments.
Recruit vet and process applicants through application review interviews and reference checks.
Engage and follow up with program alumni; nurture the alumni community through messaging events and resource sharing.
Provide logistical support for all programs from planning and budgeting through execution both online and in-person.
Track and report weekly on the status of upcoming programs.
Design implement and analyze pre- and post-program surveys.
Assist in proposal development for new projects as needed.
Perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required.
Fluency in English (written and verbal) required.
Experience in operations event management program coordination or a related field.
Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience or familiarity with venture capital and the startup ecosystem.
Cross-cultural communication skills; comfortable working with participants and teammates from around the world.
Ability and willingness to travel to other geographies as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in sales or business development.
Experience organizing international conferences startup bootcamps or other high-quality events.
Strong analytical and research skills; ability to identify trends in data and propose solutions to complex problems.
Experience building online and in-person communities.
Tech-savvy: able to build efficient workflows using modern tools and AI; comfortable designing automations and processes that reduce manual work.
Comfortable working with and hosting high-profile individuals and organizations.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
This is a remote-based role operating in a US time zone. The position requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods and to travel domestically and internationally for program events.
