Job Summary

Culinary Supervisor

As a Culinary Supervisoryou will prepare high-quality meals in accordance with standardized recipes and presentation guidelines. Youll work closely with the culinary team to ensure timely safe and delicious food service for guests. This role requires attention to detail efficiency and a passion for hospitality in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be the culinary talent behind our hotels exceptional dining experiences preparing delicious and fresh meals that delight our guests.
  • Your daily tasks will include preparing menu items ensuring food safety and quality standards and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • You will report to the Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  • A career as a culinary supervisor can lead to opportunities as a sous chef or even executive chef within the hospitality industry.
  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Facilitate a team environment to ensure optimum guest service
  • Responsible for preparation and execution of daily food service including cooking food prep cleaning and any other required task requested by hotel leadership
  • Responsible for food and beverage financial results and profitability to include; meeting budgetary goals establishing and ensuring quality standards are met and maintained
  • Supervisory duties include interviewing hiring training employees scheduling appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees; planning assigning directing work and addressing complaints

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

  • A combination of education and experience
  • Associates Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to three years related experience and/or training.

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Sufficient education and/or literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
  • Ability to sit stand bend kneel and lift as requiredwith or without reasonable accommodations
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays if needed

This position may require a varied schedule including evenings nights weekends and holidays.
