Job Description
Handle a wide range of construction and commercial litigation matters from case development through resolution.
Analyze complex legal and factual issues and prepare strong legal strategies.
Draft pleadings motions briefs memoranda discovery and other litigation documents.
Prepare and respond to written discovery.
Take and defend depositions.
Attend court appearances hearings mediations arbitrations and trials.
Communicate with clients opposing counsel experts and internal team members.
Support construction-related transactional matters and commercial project work as needed.
Manage deadlines case responsibilities and significant portions of matters independently.
Work closely with senior attorneys while continuing to build technical skills and subject-matter experience.
Qualifications
4 years of relevant litigation experience.
Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
Experience drafting pleadings motions discovery and litigation documents.
Strong legal research writing analysis and advocacy skills.
Construction law construction litigation or commercial litigation experience preferred.
Deposition hearing mediation arbitration or trial experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail organization and deadline management.
Strong communication skills professional judgment and ability to work well with a team.
