Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled CMM Inspector to join our quality assurance this role you will be responsible for ensuring the precision and accuracy of manufactured parts using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
Responsibilities include:
- Operate and program CMM equipment to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret and analyze inspection results identifying deviations and non-conformances.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and documentation.
- Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CMM Inspector.
- Proficiency in operating and programming CMM equipment (specify software if applicable).
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
