Scope of Project:
The Cloud Service Desk Representative provides engineering support for cloud-integrated service desk operations focusing on identity access device compliance and cloud-based endpoint management within Microsoft Azure/M365 environments.
Job Description:
Cloud Service Desk Representative specializing in Azure identity and cloud-driven endpoint engineering to support a federal Zero Trust initiative.
Responsibilities:
Secure System Posture & Identity Engineering:
- Implement identity security controls including MFA and passwordless authentication
- Engineer device-user identity integration across cloud platforms
Device Enrollment & Cloud Lifecycle:
- Manage onboarding workflows via Intune Autopilot Azure AD (Entra ID)
- Ensure secure provisioning with conditional access policies
Endpoint Configuration & Compliance:
- Enforce compliance policies using cloud-native tools
- Maintain configuration baselines aligned with Zero Trust
Monitoring & Logging:
- Integrate endpoint and identity logs into cloud SIEM platforms (e.g. Sentinel)
- Support audit detection and response readiness
Assessment & Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze risks and propose remediation strategies
- Support controlled implementation and validation cycles
Knowledge Transfer:
- Create documentation and provide guidance to operations teams.
Required/Preferred Skills:
- 8 years IT experience strong in cloud engineering
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure AD (Entra ID) Intune Conditional Access
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and federal security frameworks
