Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote (Dallas TX OR Atlanta GA)

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Design deploy and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Implement and manage Azure networking components including VNets NSGs Load Balancers VPNs and ExpressRoute.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform ARM Templates or Bicep.
• Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) App Services Storage Accounts and Azure SQL databases.
• Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor Log Analytics Application Insights and other monitoring tools.
• Implement cloud security best practices identity management and access controls using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra ID).
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Perform cloud migrations from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure networking and application-related issues.
• Ensure compliance backup disaster recovery and business continuity requirements are met.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization

Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience with:
• Azure Virtual Machines
• Azure Storage
• Azure Networking
• Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)
• Azure Monitor & Log Analytics
• Azure Backup & Recovery
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform ARM Templates or Bicep).
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell Bash or Python.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of cloud security governance and compliance best practices.
