The Account Coordinator supports the federal clients account and its Account Managers by assisting with marketing contract administration financial tracking project management and account coordination activities to deliver high-quality marketing and advertising services to clients. This position primarily supports our federal client with the primary responsibility for managing the intake and coordination of local marketing requests across all four regions. This is a hybrid position with work primarily performed remotely with some requirements at LMDs corporate Headquarters in Columbia MD office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Local Marketing Program Support
    • Facilitate and execute Local Marketing Support (LMS) requests encompassing the production and approval of deliverables and post-event attendance verification.
    • Manage the intake review and execution of client service or project requests.
    • Utilize project management tools to manage all tasks and deliverables associated with LMS requests.
    • Track progress to ensure that all componentsincluding deliverables payments and supporting materialsare completed on schedule.
    • Maintain consistent professional correspondence with clients and vendors to streamline LMS requests and technical requirements.
    • Assist in the maintenance and management of LMS request data to support reporting and data analytics.
    • Work cross-functionally within the company with vendors and with subcontractors to communicate needs produce deliverables and coordinate events for client requests and projects.
  • Project Management and Account Support
    • Import process and support the management of account labor records for LMD and subcontractors.
    • Support account management and financial teams in developing contract responses and deliverables.
    • Assist in the development of comprehensive project plans and milestones to ensure adherence to client deadlines adjusting scope and timelines as necessary to optimize outcomes.
    • Report project risks and outcomes to the account management team and escalate issues.
    • Provide organizational support to team members by optimizing task queues and ensuring the integrity of project management systems.
    • Work with the account management team and other internal resources to identify document and implement new processes and/or best practices for project management financial and/or account tools.
    • Oversee and process client surveys including USCG New Recruit Surveys.
    • Capture and address client questions and seek guidance from Account Managers to resolve issues as needed.
    • Maintain organized and user-friendly systems for storing and accessing project files communications and documentation.
    • Provide direction and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle to ensure consistency and quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience and B.S. and/or B.A. in marketing communications business or related field.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Google Workspace Asana Smartsheet Workamajig or other project management tools preferred.
  • Client/customer relationship management experience

  • Adheres to office policies procedures and protocol.
JOB LOCATION(S)
  • This position is hybrid Monday-Friday 9 AM-5 PM EST and may require some in-person meetings at LMDs Headquarters in Columbia Maryland.
