Job Summary
A 6th grade math teacher provides standards-based instruction that develops students understanding of mathematical concepts problem-solving and critical thinking skills. They use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs monitor student progress and create a positive classroom environment that supports academic growth and student confidence in mathematics.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field
- Valid Arkansas teaching license in the appropriate licensure area
- Strong knowledge of middle school math standards and instructional practices
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students staff and families
- Commitment to student growth and academic success
