Description
We are hiring for our client for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to join a leading specialist contractor delivering innovative construction solutions across a range of major projects throughout Northern Ireland and the UK.
This Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile mechanical and electrical projects within a growing business that values its people invests heavily in development and provides genuine long-term career progression. The successful Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing project costs contracts commercial risk and client relationships from pre-contract stage through to final account.

The Role
Attend pre-contract meetings and liaise with clients contractors and project teams
Review and negotiate contracts with main contractors and clients
Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement and negotiations
Administer contracts and oversee payment processes
Measure and value completed works in line with contract requirements
Prepare cost reports forecasts and financial statements
Identify and manage commercial risks across projects
Maintain strong client relationships and provide commercial updates
Collaborate closely with project managers engineers and support teams
The Person
5 years post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction
Experience working on Mechanical & Electrical projects preferred
Strong commercial awareness and contract administration skills
Excellent analytical communication and negotiation abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Full clean driving licence
Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills
