HLTA - What the Role Involves

• Supporting curriculum planning pupil progress tracking and assessment alongside qualified teachers
• Providing targeted small-group intervention to pupils requiring additional academic or pastoral support

HLTA - What the School is Looking For

The ideal HLTA will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous child-centred experience within a UK secondary school setting is highly valued. The school is seeking a confident proactive and committed HLTA with strong communication skills and the ability to lead learning independently and effectively.

HLTA - Salary and Contract Info

• Up to 600 per week pro rata to term time only
• Full-time long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
• Term-time only
• Potential for teacher training pathways or extended contracts following a successful placement
