About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Childrens Registered Manager to lead a childrens residential home ensuring high-quality care safeguarding and positive outcomes for children and young people.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the home
- Lead and supervise residential support staff
- Ensure safeguarding and Ofsted compliance
- Complete care planning and risk assessments
- Support positive behaviour strategies
- Manage incidents complaints and safeguarding concerns
- Maintain health & safety standards
- Liaise with Ofsted and external professionals
- Ensure accurate reports and records are maintained
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years residential childcare experience
- Minimum 2 years management/supervisory experience
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Level 5 Diploma (or willing to work towards)
- Knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
