Our client in the networks sector is looking for a Software Systems Engineer on a contract duration of 3 months.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Software Systems Engineer with strong telecommunications and billing systems experience to join their team on an initial three-month contract. This role is suited to an engineer who understands the end-to-end telco charging and billing ecosystem and can contribute beyond software development. The successful candidate will possess strong engineering and systems-thinking capabilities enabling them to design optimise and enhance complex billing solutions while ensuring scalability performance reliability and maintainability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with telecom billing environments including charging platforms CDR processing transaction reconciliation event-driven architectures and high-volume transactional systems.

Preferred Experience
- Experience within mobile network operators (MNOs) MVNOs or telecommunications service providers.

- Experience with containerised environments such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with revenue assurance and financial reconciliation processes.
- Experience working with highly available mission-critical systems.
