An established engineering organisation is looking for an experienced FEA Design Engineer to join its technical team and provide advanced engineering analysis for complex petrochemical projects.
Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience within the petrochemical industry
- Strong Finite Element Analysis (FEA) experience
- Proficiency in engineering simulation and analysis software
- Experience with pressure vessels piping systems or structural analysis advantageous
- Strong understanding of engineering codes and standards
Responsibilities:
- Perform FEA studies and engineering simulations
- Validate designs through stress fatigue thermal and structural analysis
- Generate technical reports and recommendations
- Support design teams throughout project lifecycles
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications
