Job Summary
Our client in the network mobile sector is looking for a Project Manager Platform Engineering on a contract duration of 12 months.
Role Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of platform engineering initiatives ensuring delivery of scalable secure and resilient technology platforms aligned to Africa strategic objectivesJob Accountabilities
Programme & Delivery Management- Develop and manage project plans schedules and milestones
- Drive delivery across cloud infrastructure and security initiatives
- Manage cross-team dependencies and delivery risks
- Act as primary delivery interface to stakeholders
- Facilitate governance forums and reporting
- Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards
- Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets
- Track financial performance and support cost optimisation
- Maintain RAID logs
- Manage Escalations and risk mitigation
- Produce executive reports
- Track KPIs and delivery performance
- Delivery Timeliness Budget Adherence Risk Mitigation Stakeholder Satisfaction Governance Compliance
- Cloud platforms Platform engineering DevOps Stakeholder management Leadership
- Degree in IT or Engineering 812 years experience PMP/Prince2/Agile certifications preferred
