Job Description

A leading organisationis seeking a dynamic and output-driven Finance Manager to oversee the full financial function across multiple entities. This role is suited to a resilient and adaptable finance professional who thrives under pressure works independently and consistently delivers accurate financial information within demanding deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Compile and review monthly management accounts budgets forecasts and variance reports across multiple entities.
  • Monitor expenditure identify anomalies and provide actionable financial insights.
  • Prepare reconciliation files annual audit packs and tax packs.
  • Manage operational cash flow forecasts banking activities payment approvals and cashbook reconciliations.
  • Oversee high-volume high-value procurement and accounts payable including invoice vetting and vendor negotiations.
  • Manage accounts receivable processes and sales commission calculations.
  • Develop and formalise accounting policies procedures and internal controls.
  • Conduct internal audits and support financial systems implementation projects.
  • Analyse financial information to support future growth and business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A minimum BCom or BCompt degree in Finance.
  • A postgraduate qualification or professional designation such as CIMA SAIPA or AGA would be advantageous.
  • At least three years supervisory or management experience within a multi-entity or group structure.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Strong numerical analytical communication and people-management abilities.
  • Exceptional accuracy attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • The resilience and flexibility to manage high workloads tight deadlines rapid change and extended working hours when required.
