Job Summary
An exciting opportunity exists for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join a growing technology business serving the transport and logistics sector. This role is ideal for a sales professional with experience in logistics road freight or software solutions who enjoys building relationships winning new business and delivering value-driven technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the transport logistics and freight industries
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations both virtually and in person
- Develop tailored proposals and negotiate commercial agreements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing customer success
- Minimum 3 years sales experience ideally within software technology logistics or supply chain solutions
- Strong understanding of the road freight transport or logistics industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
- Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to engage confidently with senior executives and decision-makers
- Strong commercial acumen and customer-focused approach
- Valid drivers licence and passport
- Willingness to travel as required
- Qualification in Business Logistics Supply Chain IT or a related field
- Experience selling enterprise software SaaS or Transport Management Systems (TMS)
