Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving storage picking packing and shipping.
Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
Monitor warehouse workflow and optimize operational processes.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
Inventory Control
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices.
Team Leadership
Supervise warehouse supervisors team leaders and warehouse staff.
Schedule manpower and allocate resources efficiently.
Train coach and evaluate employee performance.
Promote teamwork discipline and employee engagement.
Health Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
Maintain proper housekeeping and warehouse organization.
Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures.
Performance & Reporting
Monitor warehouse KPIs such as:
Order accuracy
Inventory accuracy
On-time delivery
Productivity rates
Warehouse utilization
Prepare operational reports and performance analysis for management.
Develop action plans to achieve operational targets
Customer & Supplier Coordination
Coordinate with suppliers transport providers and internal departments.
Resolve operational and delivery issues promptly.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Systems & Technology
Manage and utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Ensure accurate data entry and system updates.
Support automation and digitalization initiatives where applicable.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or diploma in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations management.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes.
Familiarity with WMS ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
