Job Summary
- Support the development implementation and optimization of new polymer-based marking solutions while enhancing existing polymer formulations.
- Design develop and validate prototypes and proof-of-concept (PoC) samples to demonstrate technology applications.
- Plan coordinate and execute technology implementation projects ensuring alignment with client requirements project objectives and delivery timelines.
- Oversee daily laboratory operations including equipment maintenance material sourcing procurement and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of experimental results testing procedures and technical processes for internal records and external audits.
- Develop implement and monitor Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices to maintain a safe and compliant laboratory environment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D Engineering and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and successful product development.
- Stay current with advancements in polymer science and material technologies to drive continuous innovation and improvement of polymer-based solutions.
Requirements
- Masters or PhD degree in Engineering Chemical Engineering Chemistry Polymer Science Materials Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in polymer applications materials science or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated experience in laboratory management including coordinating testing activities and maintaining laboratory operations.
- Strong technical understanding of polymer properties material behavior and plastic manufacturing and processing technologies.
- Excellent project management problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong documentation analytical and communication abilities with attention to detail.
