About the Role

Were looking for a Technical Product Manager to own the Quidax API: the platform that lets other businesses plug crypto and stablecoins straight into their own products.

Picture this. A fintech company wants to give its customers crypto wallets swaps and stablecoin payments. They could spend two years and a small fortune building custody liquidity and compliance from scratch. Or they could call our API and ship in weeks.

That second option Thats your product.

Youll own the roadmap work closely with Engineering and Commercial and make sure merchants trust us to power real money movement for real customers. If you like building the rails other builders depend on keep reading.

What Youll Be Owning

Know the platform and the people who use it

• First 90 days: get deep on the API. Make test calls read the docs like a merchant would and find every spot where integration hurts.
• Sit with our biggest merchants. Learn why they use us.
• Map the full journey from first API call to first live transaction and mark where people drop off.

Own the roadmap for the API

• Make the calls on what we build what we kill and what we say no to (kindly).
• Own pricing and packaging too. Price it so merchants win and so do we.

Ship it and keep it boringly reliable

• Run delivery with Engineering using rituals that stick: sprints retros the good stuff.
• Grow the number of live merchants and the volume flowing through the API and have the numbers to back it up.
• Hold the line on uptime security and compliance. Merchants move their customers money through us. Mostly works isnt a thing.

Make integration super simple (the Enablement bit)

• Cut time-to-first-transaction. The faster a merchant goes live the better the product.
• Build docs sandboxes and support materials so good that merchants barely need to email us.
• Give Sales Solutions and Support what they need to win deals and keep merchants happy.

Biggest Challenges Youll Tackle

Heres what youll be proud to fix:

• Building one platform solid enough for a big enterprise and simple enough for a small shop. Both at once.
• Saying no. Stakeholders will ask for a hundred features. Youll ship the right ten.
• Moving fast on integrations while risk and compliance stay airtight across multiple markets and regulators.
• Keeping the developer experience world-class while the roadmap the requests and the deadlines all pull at you.

What Were Looking For

The must-haves:

• 5 years building products in payments crypto fintech or B2B tech.
• Youve owned an API or developer platform as a product not just run tickets for one. You get that your customers are developers and you design for them.
• You make calls with data: adoption feedback experiments. Gut helps. Numbers decide.
• You run tight agile teams and keep delivery smooth when priorities shift. And they will.
• You play well with Engineering Commercial Legal and partners. You turn what the customer needs into what we ship.

The nice-to-haves:

• You know your way around custody liquidity stablecoins or on/off ramps.
• Youre comfortable with compliance risk or regulatory frameworks in payments or crypto.
• Youve built for African LATAM or Asian markets.

Reporting Line

Youll report to our Head of Product. Day to day youll work with Engineering Commercial Solutions and Legal & Compliance plus the merchants building on top of us. You own the merchant platform roadmap so the call on what ships is yours to make and defend.
