Our client is one of New Zealands leading infrastructure and facilities management organisations delivering and maintaining some of the countrys most significant transport utilities and civil infrastructure projects. Due to continued project demands we are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join a high profile Auckland based infrastructure project. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team supporting the delivery and ongoing maintenance of critical infrastructure.
This is an initial 3 month temporary assignment with the potential for extension depending on project requirements and workload.
As the Project Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of project activities acting as the central point of coordination between subcontractors suppliers project teams and key stakeholders.
Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices
Managing project documentation and maintaining accurate records
Liaising with suppliers contractorsand internal stakeholders
Assisting with project reporting and administration
Tracking project progress and ensuring deadlines are met
Coordinating meetings site access requirements and logistics
Supporting the wider project team with day to day operational requirements
About You:
Previous experience in a Project Coordinator Project Administratoror similar support role
Strong administration and organisational skills
Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
Comfortable managing invoices purchase orders and project documentation
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
High attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing demands
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management systems
Pre-Employment Requirements:
As part of the recruitment process successful applicants will be required to:
Provide two recent work related references
Complete and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Consent to and pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) criminal history check
Be eligible to work in New Zealand
