The Youth Program Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and growing the multiple class formats that make up Strong s growing youth program that include:
  • Fun N Run: focused on teaching our younger athletes the basics of proper movement through fun games and ;
  • Movement: Foundational classes where we teach youth the necessary movement patterns to thrive in gymnastics, parkour, ninja and ;
  • Ninja: geared towards increasing the specific skills of ninja through the use of obstacles, courses, and advanced

This individual will play an incredibly impactful role within Strong as they will be responsible for some of the most prevalent and respected The ideal candidate for this position desires to make a huge impact on their community and fast track their professional growth in the field of youth ;

Primary Responsibility Breakdown as %:


Youth Program Manager & Coach (75%)

Program Fulfillment and Development
  • Coach Strong Youth Group, semi-private and private classes
  • Develop and co-develop curriculum for all class formats and have it distributed in a timely
  • Identify methods to increase the quality and accessibility of the youth program (New class times, new class types, personnel, etc)

Program Leadership
  • Supervise youth classes to ensure coaches are providing quality coaching in a safe, effective, and engaging
  • Create and Implement methods in our programs that lead to consistent progression that is measurable and easily
  • Lead weekly youth class meetings and coach development
  • Play a key role in new coach onboarding and continued
  • Assist in the hiring process of new coaches through sit-down, phone, and practical
Program growth
  • Lead Nurture: Actively pursue lead generation opportunities
  • Follow up with all new class leads to assess their class ;
  • Play a key role in responding to inbound inquires and reaching out to new and existing Effectively communicate with new and existing members
  • Pursue opportunities both internally and externally to acquire additional
  • Work with the Strong team to optimize and develop retention strategies for youth
Floor Management
  • Managing safety & cleanliness of equipment &
  • Coordinating with the Strong coaching team to update obstacles and floor equipment to improve class structure and the overall performance of the floor to both athletes and the general
  • Request ordering and maintaining supplies of anything required for the safety and organization of the FUN floor.
  • Create fun and exciting games/challenges for Open Play and/or Parties that everyone can participate

Secondary Responsibility Breakdown


Shift Manager (25%)
  • Take on the role of Weekend Manager up to twice a
  • Take on the role of Manager on Duty and lead in a way the exemplifies Strong s pillars of CARE, EDUCATE, AND
  • Have a clear understanding of the basic operational procedures for the day and ensure staff are executing their respective
  • Be able to give clear direction to supporting
  • Recognize areas to better the customer experience and act on
  • Understand staff responsibilities and the role they will play that
  • Be an effective problem solver in order to give the best experience
  • Hold staff accountable to their roles and support them in the execution of said
  • Check out all parties and events with accurate invoice
  • Lead the team in executing opening/closing procedures as outlined by



Requirements

Required Experience

  • Have 2-3 years leading Ninja/Gymnastic/Parkour head coaching experience (preferred), OR at least 3 years of a sports background and leading or working with youth of all
  • Proven experience of having a positive impact on a youth program and its correlated
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is service minded, enthusiastic and
  • Desires to consistently improve their abilities and actively seeks out ways to improve as a
  • Demonstrates an understanding of Strongs commitment to quality service and creating an amazing
  • Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Consistently maintains a pleasant, professional and approachable style
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is able to professionally communicate with a variety of individuals and
  • Able to work a flexible schedule consisting of varying days and hours (including weekends, some holidays and nights)
  • Comfortable with climbing a
