JOB DESCRIPTION / SUMMARY:
The UKG Business Intelligence (BI) Report Writer Consultant will assist with UKG Pro Workforce Management Project for approximately six months. The UKG BI Report Writer is responsible for working with HR and Payroll to create identified reports. This role will also work closely with our Human Resources and Payroll Departments to ensure that appropriate policies & procedures are adhered to within the implementation(s) and that the existing live functionality is not negatively impacted.
In collaboration with department and project management the consultant will advise the project team of all risks and efficiencies and schedule any required procedures or knowledge transfer. The consultant will guide and perform design testing and training as needed by the project team.
This will be a primarily remote position but the incumbent should be available to travel as needed and work PST hours. Healthcare background is a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Deep understanding of UKG reporting. Ability to study data and analytics closely and make recommendations based on the business.
This role is important and the person needs to understand the nuances of the data in each unique functional module. Cognos is a Business Intelligence software that is utilized for improving Decision Making by empowering the enduser with clear concise and timely data. For this reason a deep understanding of Cognos is an integral part of success with UKG reporting. It allows management and users the insight and knowledge required to make effective decisions with concise data relevant to your business operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Expert UKG & Excel knowledge
Experience with UKG BI (Cognos)
Experience writing SQL
Strong background (3 plus years) in HR/Payroll data
Reporting/analytics experience
Mentor project team

Technical Knowledge:
Experience with UKG Pro HR/WFM modules
Evaluate requirements and recommend solutions.
Knowledge and understanding of functional and technical disciplines including programmers systems analysts and networking in a healthcare environment involving multiple applications and interfaces.
Knowledge and understanding of integrating information systems with specific organizational business needs and plans.
Knowledge of PC applications (MS Office and MS Project) and the ability to write reports.
EDUCATION:
Minimum Education: BA/BS in a clinical discipline computer science or related field.
Minimum Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible and related work experience with UKG modules.
Additional Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge of and experience with UKG Pro and Workforce Management
Knowledge of working with hospital information systems.
