We are looking for a UI/UX Engineer in our Software Engineering team to join us on this exciting journey!
Your mission
As our UI/UX Engineer at Prewave you will
- Collaborate with the product management team to create scalable UI components for Javascript based applications
- Convert wireframes into functional requirements and develop clean reusable code to create interchangeable frontend modules
- Identify the development areas in the existing application create solutions for elaborate business needs design and implement these solutions
- Collaborate with product management engineering and DevOps to develop features troubleshoot problems and conduct testing for hightraffic customerfacing services and applications in an agile and collaborative team environment while taking complete ownership of your solution throughout the development and production phases
- Create code that adheres to the most recent coding guidelines and industry standards.
Your profile
Must haves
- 5 years of experience in software engineering with deep expertise in frontend development; broad experience in building modern JavaScriptbased web and SaaS products
- Extensive handson experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries (Angular React Vue etc)
- Strong expertise in RESTful APIs and how to use them in practice
- Strong understanding of user experience design principles
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Storybook
- Expertise in writing effective unit integration and enduser automation tests
- Strong knowledge of HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus points for
- Previous experience with SaaS environment
- Experience with UX research and testing
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with UI animation and microinteractions
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
What we offer you
- An extensive compensation package
We are offering an attractive compensation package that consists of a base salary and a performancebased bonus. The minimum OTE (ontargetearning) which is the projected salary (base bonus) for this role is EUR 65.000 gross a year.
