UCS Engineer - NCE G10 (Consulting Engineer 4)

Consulting Engineer well versed in UCS Compute & Storage - primarily C and S series
Support new UCS platform architecture, testing & operations support
Customer relationship support
Cross functional alignment support between CX, Sales & Business Unit
Full time for 6mo, likely to extend additional 6 months
Onsite 3-4 days per week in Denver, CO, remote during other times. Local/within driving range, no airfare/hotel.
No US citizenship required

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
You optimally work independently and as part of a team to implement solutions for customers.
Generates network configurations from Low Level Design for complex networks.
Plans and executes highly complex Network Upgrade and Network Migration activity.
6-10 years within the field of Data Center compute engineering
BS, CS, or University degree equivalent and 8+ years meaningful experience in compute and network engineering in data center environments.
Interpersonal skills to include consulting, negotiation, presentation/demonstration, and written communication.
Document creation such as method of procedures, solution design, installation procedures, testing procedures, troubleshooting guides, etc.
Experience working with and providing consultation to customers
3-5 years of experience in design and implementing Cisco's compute solutions
Experience with compute and Firewall integration
Expert level knowledge in Data Center compute architecture
Experience with UCS B, C, S, X and Hyperflex deployments
Experience with other Cisco compute management platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and experiential knowledge of Cisco's Data Center Compute products and solutions. Candidate must be self-motivated, team oriented and must possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills. The following skillsets are thus desired of this candidate:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) Data Center or VMWARE certification preferred
Strong Routing & Switching skills
Python programming experience a plus
Willing to work onsite in Denver, CO is a must.
