As a Quantity Surveyor, you will review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements. You will also be scrutinising maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts, to ensure the best deals.

In your first few weeks in this Quantity Surveyor role, you can expect to:

• Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
• Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents
• Advise managers and clients on improvements and new strategies
• Keep track of materials and order more when required
• Document any changes in design and updating budgets.

To apply for this Quantity Surveyor role, you will need a degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar. You will also require the following:

• Construction estimating or finance experience
• Good analytic and critical thinking skills
• Sound knowledge of construction
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
