Responsibilities
- Configuring network hardware like servers, routers and switches
- Upgrading and diagnose computer issues escalated from technical support
- Troubleshooting switch and router issues
- Assisting network architects with the design of network models
- Manage and maintain various operating systems and platforms
- Manage and maintain cloud applications like Office365
- Manage and maintain storage like Qnap and virtualization
- Deploying and updating software
- Managing servers and their operating systems
- Implementing security measures and basic testing
- Managing cloud and physical network storage
- Interface directly with the help desk and IT support technicians to resolve and document hardware and software troubleshooting tickets, bug reports and errors.
