Hob Description
Sterile Processing/HLD personnel to assure all surgical trays are clean complete accurate and stored in designated areas. Refers performance issues to the SPD Manager in a timely manner. Maintains par level of instrumentation equipment and supplies. Works in collaboration with Clinical Nurse IIIs to assure that instrumentation for scheduled urgent and emergency procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in applied sciences.
- 2 years experience
- Coursework/Training: Training in decontamination processing sterilization quality control.
- CHL Certification in Healthcare Leadership through IAHCSMM or CSPM Certified Sterile Processing Management through CBSPD upon hire.
- 2 years Leadership experience.
- 2 years in sterile processing and/or hospital setting
