Maintenance Manager

Busy Menomonee Falls manufacturing company has an opportunity for a highly experienced handson Maintenance Manager. This position is open due to a pending retirement. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for all machine and building maintenance to ensure that production is not interrupted. The ideal candidate has past experience in a CNC job shop or similar environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MAINTENANCE MANAGER:

• Planning and overseeing work of maintenance staff and outside contractors
  
• Work closely with management to develop a maintenance plan
  
• Perform highly skilled maintenance work including machine repair hydraulics pneumatics electrical heating and plumbing
  
• Plan major projects obtain quotes and supervisor work
  
• Complete and maintain all paperwork and records
  
• Maintain spare parts inventory
  
• Supervisor train and direct one maintenance tech
  
• Direct the Preventive Maintenance Program
  
• Ensure environmental and safety compliance at all times
  
  

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE MAINTENANCE MANAGER:

• High school education and 7 years of related maintenance experience
  
• Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems
  
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  
• Strong written and oral communication skills
  
• Experience managing capital projects
  
• Ability to prepare purchase requisitions
